Lisa began her career as a social studies teacher and coach at Bridger Eighth Grade Center in Independence, Missouri in 1992. Lisa taught for eight years while attending graduate school, running the after-school program and coaching basketball and cross country. She also wrote a technology grant for her building receiving a $25,000.00 grant to be implemented into the middle school curriculum. In 2000 she became an assistant principal at Bridger Eighth Grade Center for two years. Since that time, Lisa has done various tasks relating to education foundations throughout the Midwest.
